hey there, remember me?
the girl who writes this blog...
I know you were all terribly sad I hadn't been posting,
but cheer up bloggy people
mama's back
and so is Abigail :)
*high fives*
*loud cheers*
she is running better than ever with a lovely new clutch
and new ignition coils

she's fast like a NASCAR

anyways,
something else that is new in my life...
my haircut
yes, today i chopped off a whopping four inches
of hair
I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but for a girl who gets sentimental over haircuts
I'm proud of myself
and i will eventually get you a picture
but not today
it's late and i am all ready for bed
attractive

want to see something even more attractive?

and
goodnight

Sad Day

I arrived in Lincoln, NE
late Monday afternoon
My lovely teammates Maritza and Ari
picked me up and gave me a ride to my new apartment
I got right to unpacking,
anxious to make this foreign place look and feel like a home
while I was cleaning I realized that there were
plenty of things I still needed
like a phone charger since apparently I had left mine at home
and my phone of course was blinking red
since it was getting dark I decided I
needed to grab my keys and headed out for Walmart
I am still not quite used to my stick shift
so I was preparing for the hill I would have to stop at
everything was going good until all of a sudden
my check engine light started to blink
and my whole car started to rattle
I panicked and pulled over on the nearest street
of course I called my dad,
scared and naive

with little battery left I called Maritza and she of course came to my rescue
she drove my to walmart to grab a car charger
and back to the scene of poor, broken Abigail the Audi
finally, two hours later
the tow truck arrived and Abby was taken away :(
it's Friday and I still haven't heard from her
except that it will cost me
$1700 to fix her
I hope she comes back to me soon

Quote 8.1.11

This past weekend,
my Region IV stud muffins of a club team headed to Phoenix, AZ
for a chance to win a national title

of course, the internet was expensive at the hotel and,
would cost me a small fortune to use for the duration of the trip but I patiently stuck it out
and can now return safely to you, bloggers :)
but back to my story...

Thankfully we played at eight P.M. because the temperatures were reaching a whopping
120 degrees during the day
Although we didnt win come out with the title
I'd say second in the nation
isn't too shabby either!
We accomplished more than anyone thought we ever could
and I am sad to say
my club soccer days are officially over.
and what a way to end it,
 with a BANG!
